Description
In this video, produced by community-based organization Wayuu Women's Strength, a group of women share their knowledge about international legislation regarding indigenous peoples (ILO 169 Convention) with members of their community. This in the context of an ongoing struggle to protect Wayuu territory from environmental destruction by Cerrejón, one of the largest open-pit coal mining operations in the world.
