Videofashion designers. Moschino. Volume 3, Episode 7

Description

The Moschino label, founded by Italian designer Franco Moschino in 1983, has always taken an irreverent and playful approach to fashion. The whimsical designer, who was obsessed with popular culture, often saturated his collections with tongue-in-cheek references. Moschino had his mind set on knocking down fashion dictates, and instead, used his mischievous approach to be one of the first designers to endorse a “wear what makes you happy” mantra. After Moschino's untimely death in 1994, Rosella Jardini took the design reigns at the label, which she held for two decades. In 2014, American fashion provocateur, Jeremy Scott, became Moschino's new creative director, bringing his unapologetic, cartoonish interpretation of pop culture to the brand, and providing a fresh, fearlessly outspoken and amusing vision to the storied label.
