Videofashion designers. Nina Ricci. Volume 3, Episode 11
Description
The epitome of French femininity, the Nina Ricci label was founded by Maria “Nina” Ricci in Paris in 1932 along with her son Robert who was the creator of the famous L’Air du Temps perfume. The house has had several design directors in the years since Ricci's death, but experienced a renewed interest when fashion darling Olivier Theyskens took the design reins in 2006. In 2009, Theyskens was replaced by Peter Copping, a former assistant to Marc Jacobs at Louis Vuitton. After five years at the helm, Copping announced that he would be leaving Nina Ricci, and Guillaume Henry would be taking over with the Fall 2015 season.
