In this issue of World Fashion Tour -Sculptor Lee Bontacue was the starting point for young talent Richard Chai. Andreas Melbostad at Phi continued his balance of soft sexiness and aggressive tailoring. Moving on from their Trovata days, Shipley & Halmos offered a more sophisticated, grown-up collection that still retained a casual, classic American feel. Designer Rubin Singer, whose grandfather was a celebrated Russian couturier, draws upon his enviable fashion heritage in his polished nautical collection. This season Doo.Ri was inspired by American neon artist Bruce Nauman.
