Temporary sanity. The Skerrit Bwoy story
Description
This film deals with the culture of Jamaican dancehall music as it exists in New York. It follows one young dancehall participant, Skerrit, who makes his living performing and promoting dancehall music. Although for many his performances might appear extreme and outrageous for their sexual innuendo, he is also a practising Christian and believes that what he does helps young people turn away from the violence and drugs that have ruined so many lives.
