Reading in the Content Areas

Description

Discover how teachers in the content areas can help students improve subject-area learning and reading comprehension skills simultaneously. This DVD gives teachers a variety of strategies they can use with upper elementary (grades 4-6), high school, and middle school students to help them read for information and retrieve knowledge from textbooks and other materials.
