While experiential methods can take kids beyond textbooks and into the outdoors for authentic hands-on learning, Experiential Squared: The High Trails Outdoor Education Center (HTOEC) Curriculum Model explains why the experience can be taken a step further. Based on the premise of giving kids a reason to want to learn, HTOEC has practiced a powerful teaching model for over forty years to make learning fun.
