Consuelo Castiglioni showed that Marni has not finished exploring artistic influences – this season she looked to painters Yves Klein and Ross Bleckner. Miuccia Prada always has an artist’s sensibility, while at Etro, it was Mark Rothko’s abstract color blocks that inspired. For Karl Lagerfeld at Fendi it was the Fauvist artists who inspired one of the prettiest collections he’s done for the house. Antonio Marras looked to the performing arts for his inspiration.
