Weather
Description
Weather, the variable state of the Earth's atmosphere, is dependent on complex interactions between air, water, and heat from the sun. A dynamic planet, Earth's atmosphere is fueled by the sun as it heats and moves air. These air masses clash at cold and warm fronts. Weather effects from these clashes range from powerful storms to less dramatic conditions. Meteorologists watch and measure weather elements, including pressure, humidity, temperature, clouds, winds, and precipitation. Weather forecasts alert us to storms and help us plan our lives.
