Description
On conservation activities of the Department of the Interior. Reel 1 shows the Interior Department Bldg. in Washington, D.C., and illustrates the activities of its bureaus with scenes of Indians dancing, Indian children in schools, herds of sheep and cattle grazing in fields. Boulder and Grand Coulee dams, surveyors at work, and laboratories. Reel 2, scenes of oil fires, a petroleum laboratory, forest fires and firefighting, pamphlets, the Virgin Islands, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska, and national parks illustrate activities of other bureaus of the Department.
