William Tell express
Description
The William Tell Express is a panoramic boat and train line which crosses the Swiss Alps from north to south, linking two of Switzerland's stunning regions. Starting out from the city of Lucern, enclosed and protected by its medieval ramparts, the journey then takes to the waters of Lake Lucern by paddle boat, before entering the Reuss Valley. Taking to the Gotthard line and its breath taking scenery, it continues through the Leventina valley before arriving at its destination at Locarno and Lugano.
