Alfred Eisenstaedt. Photographer
Description
This documentary takes a behind-the-scenes look at the character and style of one of the most important photojournalists of the 20th century: Life magazine photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt. The film reveals a rare view of "Eisey" as he returns to Germany to photograph his homeland for his book, Eisenstaedt Germany. Filmmaker David Hoffman and crew follow Eisenstaedt on a series of photo assignments, and the result is an intimate portrait of a man who changed the way we look at the world.
