Fantastic voyage
Description
After building a 51-foot raft from scrap wood and other materials salvaged from dumpsters in New York City, 65-year-old Poppa Neutrino and his band of three people and three dogs set sail across the north Atlantic Ocean. This low-tech global journey has been a long-time dream of the crew members, who have had a nomadic existence building houseboats to avoid paying rent. National Geographic Explorer joins this crew and their statement against a wasteful society, on their remarkable journey as they battle 15-foot swells, storms, and food shortages on their journey to Europe and beyond.
