Blue eyes at Shaolin

Description

The Shaolin Monastery in the Chinese province of Hunan is the mythical landmark of the martial arts. For the last fourteen centuries, it has trained young men from all over China as valorous defenders of the imperial dynasties. Andreas is a Buddhist monk. He has been living in Shaolin for two years, studying Wushu, the Chinese Kung Fu. However, this novice stands apart from the other monks in that he is the first westerner to be admitted into the temple order. Blue Eyes at Shaolin is the portrait of an idealist pursuing a childhood dream. Andreas is well aware that the path leading to true wisdom and inner peace is a long one, but he is proud to be the first blue-eyed Shaolin monk.
