Pioneer 10: Launch in 1972, this satellite was the first man made object to leave our solar system and continues to provide vital data from millions of miles away. Gemini 3: Here we look at an important set of missions in the early 1960s that helped answer many vital questions for NASA and have helped it reach the level it has today.
