Circuit resistance training for persons with spinal cord injury
Description
Circuit Resistance Training for Persons With Spinal Cord Injuries reviews how exercise--specifically, resistance training--can be employed to enhance the lifestyle of individuals living with spinal cord injuries. Unfortunately, many of the traditional upper-body exercise modalities for individuals with spinal cord injuries have serious limitations involving placing undue stress on the user's shoulders. The video features a series of resistance exercises that can be performed in circuit fashion and combined with low-resistance, arm ergometry exercises to collectively minimize the demands placed on the user's shoulders.
