Description
Forests. Just how important are they? Frankly, they are essential to sustain life on Earth; we need them to sustain clean air and water, not to mention the shade and shelter they provide, along with the multiple products that are derived from them or the domain they offer the world's wildlife. Unfortunately, all too often they are at risk from deforestation and the purpose of this short, reverent program is to underscore to viewers of all ages that a forest is our friend, an important biome that is a natural living organism. Here we are offered a warm, sensitive look at the pastoral beauty of life in the forest with the hope of inspiring viewers to look for the magic and mystery of the forest, to explore the nature and feeling of the forest, and to ultimately remember our responsibility to preserve and protect this treasured natural resource.
