Learned Helplessness
Description
This program examines the psychological concept of learned helplessness. It explores such key experiments as Zimbardo's Stanford Prison Experiment, Seligman and Maier's work with dogs, Ramsey and Finkelstein's studies of infants, and Schultz's studies of short-term control. The DVD also provides an overview of Seligman's theory of learned optimism.
