Description
In the climbing world, there are no terms of endearment for K2, only begrudging whispers born of respect and fear: 'Mountains', 'Savage Mountain', and always, 'Killer Mountain'. K2's weather, remoteness, avalanche danger, rock falls, crevasses and other nightmarish hazards combine to make it 28,267 foot summit the hardest point on earth to reach.
