Mules
Description
One in every five women in prison in Britain today is a Nigerian woman convicted of smuggling drugs into the UK. The 'Mules' are the small-fry in a big international game. For every woman they arrest, many others will be recruited to take her place. Inside Story travels to Nigeria to discover what compels women to undertake such a dangerous mission and to explore what happens to their families while they are away for so many years.
