Description
With coal being the source of 80 percent of the country's electricity, Australia is the world's second largest producer of greenhouse gases (per capita). Sweden, which has embraced nuclear energy for many years, produces virtually no greenhouse gases. Despite the stark contrast, the Australian people have long resisted the transition to nuclear energy.
