Description
A young woman from a small village in Sulawesi, Indonesia, leaves her infant son and husband to work as a maid in Singapore in the hopes of giving her family a better life. The film takes a critical look at the sometimes harrowing conditions under which domestic service workers are forced to live, and the abuses that are leveled against them by their employers and the agencies that train and hire them. Festivals: Jeonju International Film Festival.
