Wheelchair
Description
Sushmita is attacked one night after staying late at the office. She falls down the stairs in her attempt to escape and suffers damage to her spinal cord, resulting in paralysis. Despondent and wishing for death to end her suffering, she is sent to live in a nursing home for neurologically handicapped patients, run by Dr. Mitra, who is himself, wheelchair-bound. As Sushmita struggles to regain control over her limbs, with the help of physiotherapist, Santu, Dr. Mitra struggles to keep his home running, in the face of dwindling funds.
