God saw that it was good
Description
A grim look at the environmental, social and individual costs which have been paid in the name of economic growth. In Korea, the pollution of air, water and soil has caused many diseases and birth defects in humans and animals alike. This documentary details how we are destroying the Earth, with agrichemicals, sulphur dioxide emissions, industrial waste containing heavy metals and radioactive waste. More importantly, it suggests why we need to, and indeed how we can address this pressing matter. Festivals: Focus On - Korean Retrospective, 11th Jeonju International Film Festival.
