Connecting with the arts. What is arts integration? A workshop for middle grades teachers
Description
In this program, we'll look at three instructional models for arts integration. Independent instruction occurs when teachers in different disciplines teach in their own classrooms. Team-teaching refers to two or more teachers planning and teaching together, sharing responsibility in the classroom. Collaborations with community resources involved teachers working with artists, educators and other local resources. We'll also look at different kinds of curricular connections.
