Description
Two young wildebeest need attention - one for a cut leg - the other because a broken horn has led to severe infection. The Wild Life Vet Dave Cooper decides deals with the first with no problems - but finds that the infection in the second wildebeest has produced a mass of maggots eating away at the eye. He decides to put it down. The second story deals with a serval cat with a broken leg being treated by vet Clare Speedy. In the third part Vet Dave Cooper's strange domestic life where his pets include four dogs, a baby antelope, two bush babies, a buffalo, six cats- all being cared for because they are in some state of disrepair. All this in a garden next to the St Lucia estuary, from which hippos sometimes come and visit him in the evening.
