Hoover Dam
Description
One of America's most impressive engineering feats of the 20th century, the Hoover Dam stands at over 700 feet tall and is the largest reservoir in the U.S. Though the erection of the Hoover Dam provided many with work during the lean years of the Great Depression, the construction proved dangerous with 112 workers losing their lives.
