Description
Nguyen Huu Nhan recalls being a child in 1954 and moving to South Vietnam with his family after the Geneva Agreement was signed. He recalls working for the American First Marine Division in Da Nang from 1964 until 1969 when the Americans withdrew from Vietnam. He discusses his daily life and his job as an interpreter for the Americans. He recalls that after the Americans withdrew, living conditions for the Vietnamese people became difficult. Nguyen Huu Nhan also talks about the time he spent in a reeducation camp and afterwards, fleeing Vietnam.
