This seminar presents the basic concepts of neurodevelopmental treatment related to assessment and treatment. Aspects of development of respiration, feeding, speech and communication are included with emphasis on basic intervention strategies. Areas of discussion and demonstration include the development of oral-motor structures, the development of respiration, the influence of oral-motor structures on speech and feeding, the influence of respiration on speech and feeding, and treatment concepts.
