Delegating
Description
New Head Darren is finding it very difficult to let his managers and teachers do things their own way. In a scenario familiar to many managers, he is so worried about the outcome of their actions reflecting badly on him that he can't help but micromanage and tell people how he would do things. In doing this, he runs the risk of demotivating both his staff and himself entirely. Gladeana chats to Darren and together they devise a strategy for delegating to and empowering his staff to keep both them and himself motivated.
