Description
A Hampshire primary school has devised a project that gives citizenship a sound practical basis and engages its pupils with the local community. The project is called 'Good Citizens' and it is a yearly competition run by the school and its local parish council, looking for the best ideas on how to improve the local environment. This programme shows how the competition operates and examines its use as a starting point for Citizenship work throughout the term, engaging the pupils with their local community by giving citizenship a strong practical basis.
