Supporting the LSA team
Description
This programme looks at the work of the Special Needs (SEN) department at Sackville Community College and explores how the learning support assistant (LSA) team are supported and how their roles are developed. The department has grown over the years and SEN Coordinator Anne Jakins has had to work on ways of monitoring and developing her support staff. Anne places high importance on support and team-building and the LSAs about how these management structures affect them.
