Choir of young believers
Description
In June 2009 The Danish National Chamber Orchestra invited the acclaimed indie rock band Choir of Young Believers to join forces in an interpretation of the band's award-winning European debut album. Two sold-out concerts resulted in this extraordinary concert film. Reviewers were thrilled and called the concert "... a sensual delight, but also a masterly and natural interpretation..." 50 musicians on stage take the audience on a journey into a musical dreamland -no explanations, no words, no limits... Listening to Choir of Young Believers, Rolling Stone magazine says, is "like hearing Radiohead's Thom Yorke in the middle of a Sixties Roy Orbison single". A young and ambitious band on the rise, with music "well worth investigating" (The Guardian).
