Description
Shows teachers how parents can use creative play to foster real learning. Simple and engaging activities are shown that help children rely on their imagination and on their ability to solve problems in a play situation. Demonstrates using blocks, paint and household items to develop naming, counting and cause-and-effect relationships. Fun ways to increase physical coordination are shown. Finally, how to foster important social skills - such as cooperation, good listening skills, and self-discipline - is discussed.
