Skillfully interviewed by a pediatrician or a psychologist, the children reveal their fantasies, their fears and their grief. Angels Don t Have Headlights shows how the child s conception of death and the child s grieving process differ from those of an adult, and in fact, vary considerably with each developmental stage. It presents a model for clinician-child-family interaction where the professional has the opportunity to foster the emotional health of the young person.
