Sociology Student Organizations

Titans are involved.

Sociology student organizations are incredibly important and helpful in getting involved and connected to the field of study. Two of the Sociology-specific student organizations offered to Titans are Sociology Club and Alpha Kappa Delta.

UW Oshkosh Sociology Club

The UWO Sociology Club (Soc Club, for short!) promotes a sense of community among members of the Sociology Department and provides academically and professionally enriching opportunities for members of the organization as well as other university students. The club hosts events, participates in volunteer opportunities and collaborates with other organizations when possible. Soc Club is based on intersectional and inclusive ideals and welcomes all students.

Alpha Kappa Delta

The UW Oshkosh Gamma chapter of Alpha Kappa Delta invites applications for membership in Alpha Kappa Delta – the international sociology honor society.
