What do I do if a class I need is “full” on Titan Web?

Closed Class Approval

Students are blocked from enrolling in closed (full) courses. Over-the-limit approvals may be issued – if classroom space permits – by the instructor teaching the course. If approval is granted, the Department Assistant will contact you via email.  Electronic approval is accepted by forwarding an email to the Department Assistant.  All communications must include the student identification number.

Waitlist Approval

The Sociology program maintains waitlists for closed classes. If a class has an active waitlist, a yellow triangle will appear next to the section(s). To be added to the waitlist, you must meet all prerequisites. Once a seat becomes available, the Department Assistant will contact you via email. You will have a 24- to 48-hour window to add this course to your schedule.
