The purpose of this event is to bring together women and girls from all backgrounds to celebrate the tremendous efforts by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. We come together to reflect on how to bolster women’s rights and decision-making power; to achieve equal pay and equal sharing of unpaid care and domestic work; to end all forms of violence against women and girls; and to build health-care services that respond to women’s needs within and beyond our various communities. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in conversation with relevant topics nationally and internationally.
