Outstanding Service Award
The Outstanding Service Award the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh recognizes the contributions of professional/administrative academic staff and non-teaching faculty to the University. The award emphasizes the importance of services to students and services affecting the academic environment, the administration, and the reputation of the University.
All members of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh community (faculty, academic staff, university staff, and students from all three campuses) can nominate members of the Academic Staff for this award. Calls for nominations will be emailed to campus each year early in the spring semester.
Eligibility
Current professional administrative academic staff and non-teaching faculty in academic staff positions who have a contract longer than one-semester-only and who are at least Half-time FTE are eligible for the award.
Criteria
Evidence of outstanding PERFORMANCE in one’s current position will be the primary consideration for this award (75%). This includes direct and indirect services to students and activities affecting the academic environment, the administration, and the reputation of the university. Additional consideration (25%) will be given to documented evidence of SERVICE (to the University, one’s profession, and the greater community) beyond the nominee’s current position.
