The broadcast engineering emphasis allows Radio TV Film majors to enhance their media education. Through coursework and applied experiences with campus media outlets Titan TV and WRST 90.3 FM, students learn the wide variety of skills necessary for designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment, from cameras and microphones to transmitters, satellite systems, and digital networks. In addition to the Radio TV Film program, students in the broadcast engineering emphasis also take courses from the Engineering Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, and Music Industry programs.
