Professional production facilities at your fingertips
Our facilities are designed to immerse students in a professional work settings. Our radio broadacst facilities include WRST 90.3FM, a fully functioning WPR-affiliatd radio station, featuring professional studios and remote broadcast capabilities. Titan TV, Time Warner educational channel 10-57, is a multipurpose HD broadcast studio and a digital production studio featuring a student-designed sitcom set.
All facilities include the latest in electronic and digital formats and projection, high end digital and film cameras, and post production lab and suites employing the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite and Avid Media Composer.
Our program is dedicated to offering students unparalleled access to the tools of the industry. The campus radio and television stations offer exciting, innovative broadcast programming – all conceptualized and produced by students.
Access
Current students wishing to gain access to RTF facilities and equipment must meet one of the following eligibility requirements:
- Enrolled in a RTF course requiring facilities and/or equipment
- Participating in one of the RTF associated students organization
- Working on behalf of the RTF program including production services, work-study or STEP job, or faculty/student collaboration
Students who meet any of these requirements must read the RTF Facilities Policies and Procedures manual and complete the required forms. The manual and forms can be found in our Production Hub.
Post Production Facilities
The following post production labs and editing suites are available to students, faculty and staff in the Radio TV Film department.
Instructional Post-Production Lab (A/C W201)
The Instruction Post-Production Lab is capable of teaching students multiple post-production software in a classroom stetting using a video projection system. All computers utilize a 16T EditShare System for access and store of post-production projects and assets.
The lab includes the following workstations available for student use outside of scheduled class times:

- Final Draft Scriptwriting Software
- MovieMagic Budgeting and Scheduling Software
Edit Suites (A/C W204, W205, W207, W217)
Individual edit suites providing students 24/7 access. Each edit suite houses one editor with all the software listed above and EditShare access.
Rooms provide students with the space and privacy to work collaboratively on projects.
Television Broadcast Facilities
The following broadcast equipment are available to students, faculty and staff in the Radio TV Film department.
Broadcast Studio 1 (A/C W110)
Professional broadcast studio capable of live and live-to-tape HD television programming. Capable of multiple studio setups using permanent grey hard cyc or studio flats and studio lighting. A floor-to-ceiling chroma-key allows for post-production special effects and virtual sets.

Multiple-purpose studio space capable of professional broadcast studio productions and film setups. Multipurpose apartment set for single-cam and multi-cam production.

Master Control (A/C W1)
Master Control houses the equipment and computers for the broadcast facilities, along with film and video equipment for play-out and recording.

- 360 Systems Image Service 2000, DVD and Satellite playback.
- Playback and recording on 16 mm film, 3/4″, VHS, SVHS, DVD, MiniDV, BetaSP, IMX and AJA KiPro.
