Rental Center:
- The Rental Center is closed through January - rental by appointment only
- The Rental Office will open for the spring semester on Monday, February 2
- Weekdays 2:00pm-9:00pm
Climbing Wall:
- Climbing Wall will open for the fall semester on Monday, February 2
- Open Climb: Monday-Thursday 6:00-9:00pm

*The OAC is closed for break weeks through the school year.

Rentals

The Outdoor Adventure Center is open Every Day 12:00-6:00pm

Equipment is available on a first-come/first-served basis. Rental equipment is available for pick-up and drop-off only during OAC hours.

All renters must have a current year Rental Agreement on file (expire each Aug. 1). Save time at the OAC by filling out your 2024/2025 Rental Agreement online!

Rental Equipment Prices and Policies

The OAC offers a great variety of outdoor equipment available to rent. 1 Day rentals must be returned the same day, except for camping equipment; due by close the following day. Weekend rentals include Friday and must be returned Monday. Weekly rentals are for a maximum of seven days.

Rental Fees listed below are for SRWC Student, Staff and Faculty members.
Rental Fees in (parenthesis) are for UWO Affiliates (Staff and Faculty Non-members).
Rental Equipment is available only with a valid Titan ID Card.
SRWC Student Members are eligible to purchase our OAC Rental Pass ($20 annual pass). Visit the OAC for more information.

*Kayak/SUP Rental Policy: The OAC will only rent kayaks and paddleboards when the water temperature is above 60F and stable. This is accordance with the American Canoe Association’s (ACA) guidelines and recommendations. Please contact the OAC to find out current water temps.

Rental Policy

Equipment forms, checkouts, and returns occur in the OAC.
Equipment rental contracts are considered binding agreements between the renter(s) and UW Oshkosh. Please ask if you have any questions about your contract.
All payments are made at the SRWC Welcome Desk.
Payment can be made with credit card, check, or Titan dollars.
Payment plus any necessary deposit is required before any equipment may be released.
Equipment is not reserved until full payment is received.
Late fee is daily fee for each day the equipment is not returned.
Equipment must be properly cleaned, dried, and packed prior to its return or a fee is charged.
Cleaning, drying, repacking, and/or repair is $15/hour.
If equipment is lost or broken beyond repair, the renter will be charged the current replacement cost.
Unpaid charges will be referred to Student Accounts and the student’s account will be charged.

Rental time periods:
Daily – equipment must be returned the same day (or following day IF previously arranged)
Weekend – equipment is picked up Friday and returned no later than Monday
Holiday weekends – may include one free extra day (please ask)
Weekly – equipment may be out a maximum of 7 days, including checkout and return

Please note that all equipment must be returned 30 minutes prior to the SRWC closing or a late fee will be assessed.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations must be cancelled one day prior to pick up to receive full refund, or a one day rental will be charged.
There are no special refunds for inclement weather or changed plans.
No refunds or credit for items rented but not picked up.
