Maggie Smith was selected as the recipient of the 2025-2026 Stephen Hintz MPA Award. This award is given annually to the student who has demonstrated sustained academic excellence and strong commitment to public service throughout the course of their studies at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The MPA Alumni Board was unanimous in its decision to select her as a top candidate based on her excellent leadership and extensive public service, including service as an elected official on the local school board.
