Academic 2025-2026 Session
Titan Advantage Program (TAP) 11-12 Grades: The Titan Advantage Program (TAP) is a college readiness initiative designed to support high school students in the Appleton and Oshkosh areas through mentorship, tutoring, and meaningful connections with college role models. TAP provides in-classroom support a few times each semester, where college student mentors assist with academics, share study and time-management strategies, and encourage students to explore higher education opportunities. The program is focused on fostering academic growth, developing college-ready skills, and inspiring students to pursue their educational goals.
Dates: Fall 2025-April 30, 2026

Summer Session One (June 21–27, 2026)
Exploring Science, Technology and Engineering Education Majors (ESTEEM-HS) – Entering Grades 10-12 in fall of 2026: The ESTEEM program will provide hands-on laboratory experiences in a university setting to engage high school students and increase their interest in the science, technology, math and engineering fields. Students will have access to the same state-of-the-art facilities and equipment UW-Oshkosh students and faculty use.
Exploring Science, Technology and Engineering Education Majors (ESTEEM-MS) – Entering Grades 7-9 in fall of 2026: The ESTEEM program will provide hands-on laboratory experiences in a university setting to engage middle school students and increase their interest in the science, technology, math and engineering fields. Students will have access to the same state-of-the-art facilities and equipment UW-Oshkosh students and faculty use.
Summer Mathematics and Reading Talent Scholars (SMARTS) –Entering Grade 7-8 in fall of 2026: The SMARTS program is designed to help students raise their academic performance in mathematics and reading at or above their grade level; promote academic success in other subject areas through competency in reading and mathematics.
Young Entrepreneurial Scholars (YES) – Entering Grades 9-12 in fall of 2026: The YES program provides academic and professional development courses and activities to help students prepare for business careers in college. Students from the Milwaukee area who have a strong interest in accounting may also apply for the YES Internship. The YES program offers a six-week internship opportunity for eligible students that live in the Milwaukee area. Internship dates: TBD.

Summer Session Two ( July 5–11, 2026)
Arc of Teaching (AT) – Entering Grades 8-12 in fall of 2026: The AT program will provide academic and professional development courses and activities to help students prepare and explore different careers in education prior to enrolling in college while enhancing their writing skills and abilities. The AT program will also provide students with in-depth group discussions on current issues that include inequalities and unjust issues in the United States of America, as well as internationally, and will seek to find solutions.
Future Titans High School (FT-HS) – Entering Grades 10-12 in fall of 2026: The FT-HS program is a one-week summer residential program. The focus of the program is to develop and enhance educational proficiency through learning experiences that are problem-solving based. In addition, the program challenges participants to discover themselves, explore new concepts and open their minds to the world of opportunity.
Future Titans Middle School (FT-MS) – Entering Grades 7-9 in fall of 2026: The FT-MS program is a one-week summer residential program. The focus of the program is to develop and enhance educational proficiency through learning experiences that are problem-solving based. In addition, the program challenges participants to discover themselves, explore new concepts and open their minds to the world of opportunity.
Pulse Medical Program (PM) – Entering Grades 9-12 in fall of 2026: The PM Program provides academic and professional development courses and activities to help students prepare for college nursing careers and other health related fields of study by gaining hands-on experience in the state-of-the-art laboratories used by UW-Oshkosh nursing students.

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) provides scholarships for qualified students to participate in the Arc of Teaching (AT); Exploring Science, Technology and Engineering Education Majors (ESTEEM); Future Titans High School (FT-HS); Future Titans Middle School (FT-MS);Pulse Medical Program (PM); and Summer Mathematics and Reading Talent Scholars (SMARTS), Titan Advantage Program (TAP), Young Entrepreneurial Scholar (YES) programs.
DPI scholarships are limited to students who participate in the free or reduced-rate lunch program at their school. The scholarship covers full payment for each of the programs and includes tuition, meals, lodging, supplies, insurance and activity fees.
