UWO Police Department is rolling out a podcast that will give community members access to content that will increase awareness and safety across our three campuses. Over the next 30-45 days community members will be able to listen to introduction podcasts for those who work at UWO Police Department. Also, yesterday we posted a podcast titled Episode 5: Substances Don’t Discriminate. If you weren’t able to attend either of the training sessions that we hosted in September or February this is a great discussion that will help provide information regarding the Fentanyl crisis in our Country and how this crisis is impacting us locally and across the State of Wisconsin. This podcast is hosted by Acting Chief of Police Chris Tarmann with guests, Michelle Kullman (the mom of a student at UW Milwaukee who passed away from ingesting a single imposter pill that was Fentanyl), Megan Edwards (a person living in long-term recovery who attended and graduated from UW Oshkosh and works for Solutions Recovery, Inc), and LJ Volp (a person who lives in long-term recovery, is a recovery coach, and coordinate a TON of valuable resources in our region of Wisconsin. Check out Episode 5 and follow us for more great content to come.
