It’s the last week of our Spring 2022 semester at UW Oshkosh which brings a little more traffic to campus due to move-out and commencement programs. This year just comes with a little more excitement because the City is working on updating streets on and near the UWO Oshkosh campus.
If you’re traveling to UWO Oshkosh campus for commencement and/or move-out you’ll want to allow yourself a little extra time to navigate campus and we’re asking that you please be flexible with us as we do our best to help guide guests through the campus for these events. High Avenue continues to accommodate two-way traffic temporarily. Pedestrians crossing Algoma should be on the lookout as safe, accessible crosswalks shift regularly.

For those planning to be on campus next week for the start of the May term, be aware that crews are expected to begin paving High Avenue with permanent asphalt. Traffic on High will be maintained during this time.
Detours continue for GO Transit bus routes No. 5 and No. 10. Find details in the GO Transit app or on Go Transit’s Facebook page.
More information about the Algoma Boulevard Project also is available online. If would like to receive project updates from the city of Oshkosh, please send a blank email to Contract2204-subscribe@lists.ci.oshkosh.wi.us. For questions regarding the construction, please call the city’s Engineering Division at (920) 236-5065.
