Society of Physics Students (SPS)


The Society of Physics Students (SPS) sponsors physics-related field trips, outreach events, conferences, and special speakers. You do not need to be a physics major to attend SPS meetings. The group is open to all!

For 2017-2018, SPS students are  working toward competing in the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium (WSGC) collegiate rocketry competition. Past SPS activities have included: a ping-pong tournament with the Chemistry and Biology clubs, the construction of a potato cannon, and a field trip to Fermilab in Chicago. Below are a couple of pictures from our Chicago trip.
