Pollution – A Preschool Lesson Plan

Lauren Makiya
Junior, Early-Special Education
Abstract
This STEAM lesson plan for our preschool class will primarily focus on science, as an overarching theme of understanding environmental science, specifically air, water, and land pollution. Students will work each day through the STEAM curriculum which includes science, technology, engineering, math, and art lessons. Throughout the five day unit, student’s will be able to recognize the cause and effect of the environmental science. By the end of the unit, students will leave with a greater understanding of pollution and therefore ty begin to take action and contribute to the decline of pollution.
