Criminal Justice – Accelerated Online Bachelor’s

The criminal justice curriculum for the major is designed to prepare students for careers in a variety of careers related to justice and crime reduction. Courses focus on law, corrections, policing and criminology and aim to teach students about the complexities associated with the criminal justice process and crime analysis.

Students have the opportunity to focus on criminological theory, research methodology, statistical analysis and law, so that graduates from UW Oshkosh earn a criminal justice education that will have prepared them to pursue advanced degrees in the fields of criminology, criminal justice and law.

Affordable and Flexible Format

Our accelerated courses are offered in seven-week sessions and are all available 100% online. We offer rolling admission, so students can start at the beginning of any seven-week session. There’s no need to wait for the start of an official semester—you can begin earning your degree when you’re ready.

Professors schedule assignment deadlines, but coursework and readings are done at a time that best fits your schedule. There are no live classes or scheduled meeting times, which means our programs work for working professionals.

Courses in our programs are stackable, which helps you complete your degree sooner! Students in our programs can enroll in one or more courses each semester and the accelerated format means you’ll take fewer courses at the same time.

Student Support

At UW Oshkosh, student support is at the heart of all that we do. We offer career guidance, personal support and flexible learning opportunities. Cost

Our accelerated online courses are affordable and optimize the return on investment for students who want to see how online courses fit into their schedules.

Each student’s financial investment will depend on how many credits they transfer and how many credits they earn for prior experience.
