Fulbright U.S. Student Program

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers research, study, and teaching opportunities in over 140 countries to recent graduates and graduate students, through a variety of programs, including:
- The Fulbright Study/Research Award is the traditional award opportunity where a candidate designs a proposal to study or do research in a specific country.
- English Teaching Assistant Award program places grantees in schools oversees to supplement local English language instruction and to provide a native speaker presence in the classroom.
- The Fulbright program also sponsors awards in Digital Storytelling
Programs and award applications for the Fullbright U.S. Student Program open on April 5. Deadline for campus submissions is September 1. Final deadline for submission through the Fulbright website is October 1.
A related program is the Boren Language Awards which provide funding to study a wide range of critical languages including Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese, and Swahili on location in Africa, Asia, Eurasia, Latin America and the Middle East.
